Hexagonest is the third stage of Super Hexagon. Its difficulty is listed as "Hardest".
Upon completion of the stage's five levels, the achievement "Triangle" is awarded and the stage's Hyper Mode, Hyper Hexagonest, is unlocked.
There is seemingly a fast spin of approximately 360 degrees every 13 seconds (time can vary).
Features[]
Unlike Hexagon and Hexagoner, the speed of pointer in Hexagonest is quite a bit faster, therefore you may spend a lot of time getting used to this level. In the basic Hexagonest level, occasionally the whole screen rotates at a very high speed which makes the level harder. You may have to memorize the "feeling" of how much you should move in each pattern. In the Hyper Hexagonest level, there's no random spin, but the whole thing now rotates at high speed, making you thinking "It's just impossible to beat this". However, with a lot of practice you can recognize where your pointer is and what the pattern you're encountering. Knowing how much you should move in each pattern, you will beat the Hyper Hexagonest level and thus beat the Super Hexagon.

Trivia[]
- Hexagonest is slower than Hyper Hexagon, but the arrow speed is faster. This level is therefore generally considerered harder than both Hyper Hexagon and Hyper Hexagoner.
- The colors cycle in this order: green, purple, orange, cyan, pink and yellow.
- There's a bug that you can pass through wall one time in a Double Whirlpool, by rotating opposite direction.
